The Battle of Bunker Hill

British Major General William Howe sends 2,500 regulars in a frontal assault up Breed's Hill overlooking Boston, where roughly 3,000 provincial soldiers are entrenched. It takes three attacks for the British to drive the Americans from Breed's Hill and a secondary position at Bunker Hill in one of the bloodiest battles of the War for Independence.
