Board of Trade Declares Henry's Resolves an Attack on the Constitution

Calling the resolves opposing the Stamp Act passed in May by the Virginia House of Burgesses an attack on the British constitution, the Board of Trade recommends tough action by the crown to enforce the Stamp Act and other laws. Also, the Cabinet reports to King George III that opposition shown by the Virginians is a matter too important not to be left to Parliament.
